Zen Valley

Live where the land
still breathes.

An off‑grid spiritual living community in the hills outside Rawalpindi. Five‑kanal plots that grow your food, make your power and give you room to be still.

Most projects are built to be sold. Zen Valley is built to be lived in — slowly, and for a long time.

A place where the house draws its light from the sun, the garden drinks the rain, and the neighbours share a lake rather than a boundary wall. Where a morning walk ends at the water, and evenings are quiet enough to hear yourself think.

Not a retreat you visit. A life you return to.

A five‑kanal plot: home, garden, animals, orchard — and the lake below.

Three things we are building.

Everything at Zen Valley follows from these — the land plan, the homes, the way neighbours live together.

Off‑grid

Solar power with battery storage, rainwater collection, composting and the valley's own lake. No load‑shedding, no tanker, no bill from anyone.

Self‑sufficient

Vegetables, fruit, eggs, milk, honey and even wheat from your own five kanal. The permaculture learning centre teaches you how, season by season.

Spiritual

Quiet spaces by the water for prayer, meditation and reflection. Neighbours who chose the same slower, more deliberate life. Happy, peaceful, awake.

A valley planned around water.

The valley opens onto a lake and community dam at its heart, with the permaculture learning centre beside it. Roads follow the contours of the land instead of cutting through it, and mature forest along the western edge stays exactly as it is.

  • 5 kanalper plot — more than half an acre of your own land
  • 10 marlamaximum construction, so the land stays land
  • 1 lakewith a community dam, spillway and learning centre
  • Sunsolar arrays and batteries power every home
  • Rainrainwater collection on every roof, road and field
  • Soilorchards, communal gardens and composting sites

The master plan

Plots are laid out along permeable, contour‑following roads that loop the valley. Orchard fields and communal gardens are woven between them, so no home is more than a short walk from something growing.

At the centre: the eco‑lake, the community dam, and the permaculture learning centre and community hub.

The master plan is a working draft. Final plot positions and shared facilities may be refined before handover.

How big is five kanal, really?

About 27,000 square feet — a square roughly 165 feet on each side, more than half an acre. Construction is capped at 10 marla; the rest is for living. Hover or tap each area to see what fits.

One plot, a whole way of living

One way to lay out five kanal. The home takes at most 10 marla; the rest feeds you, powers you and gives you room to breathe. Your plot, your layout — this is only a starting point.

Illustrative layout, not to survey scale. 1 kanal = 20 marla = 5,445 sq ft.

What five kanal gives you.

Enough land for a home that faces the right way, a kitchen garden that feeds the family, an orchard with beehives, a few goats and hens, a pool for the summer — and still, space left over for nothing at all.

Off‑grid livingPlots and homes

Grown here, not bought.

Zen Valley is not a view to look at. It is a place where children learn where eggs come from, where Saturday means the orchard, and where dinner is something you picked an hour ago.

Tomatoes, greens, mint — an hour before lunch.

Four seasons, one valley.

Off‑grid living follows the year. Every season has its own work and its own reward — swipe through a year at Zen Valley, and read the story of each.

Founding families.

The first plots are being offered to a small number of families who want to shape the valley from the beginning. Founding‑stage pricing reflects that: the land is early, and so is the price.

As the lake fills, the orchards mature and the learning centre opens, the value of every plot rises with the valley. We share pricing privately with serious buyers, along with the full land documentation.

Limited plots in the first release. First come, first served.

Zen Valley is a project by Advice Associates — twenty‑five years of land, planning and building in Pakistan, now given to one idea: a place to live well, quietly, for a long time.Established 2001 · Rawalpindi
